The Firm

Built on restraint, run on relationships.

Claymore Hill Advisors was founded to give California's serious private investors a counterpart that matches their discipline — without the noise, the pressure, and the volume-first culture that defines much of the brokerage industry.

Founder

Timothy Murray

Founder & Broker

Timothy Murray founded Claymore Hill Advisors on a conviction that California's private-capital owners deserve a boutique alternative — a firm with the underwriting rigor of an institutional shop and the discretion of a family office.

His practice concentrates on multi-family investment, small-cap residential portfolios, and professional buildings across the Central Valley and Central Coast. Every engagement begins with a private conversation and a written thesis, not a pitch deck.

"The relationships that matter are the ones where the phone gets answered the same way in year one and year fifteen."

01

Deliberately Small

A tight roster of active engagements. Every client speaks directly with the broker of record, not a coordinator.

02

Written Discipline

Every recommendation is backed by a written thesis, an underwriting model, and a defensible market view.

03

Long-Horizon

We optimize for the next twenty years of a relationship, not the next commission cycle.

Credentials

Licensed. Local. Accountable.

Every transaction is executed under a single license, by a single principal, against a written thesis. Nothing about the practice is outsourced.
